[l_text] => 魚屋町にあり、清浄山と号し、浄土宗西山派に属しています。
開山の覚山天誉は、13代将軍足利義輝の子で、父が松永久秀らに殺されると京都の誓願寺に逃れ、父の菩薩を弔うために仏門に入る。
天正年間、八上城主波多野秀治の保護を受け、八上城下に開基創建したのがはじまりで、慶長15年現在の地に移築されました。
一間一戸の重層屋根入母家造り本瓦葺き四脚門で、釘一本も使わぬ組み合わせ工法が素晴らしい楼門が印象的。
